Pineapple Juice

Bought a few pineapple at Tesco  few days ago for 99cents each! Although not feeling too well, but gotta juice it now or it will rot 2molo (too experienced by now :) ). The top part sort of blacken, while the thorny area started to go yelllow. When this happen, the next day it will turn all yellow while the blacken tip will be mushy.

So, I cut all four, on the floor. Newspaper comes in handy at time like this. Everything ready in less than 5min.

Wash abit and proceed to my juicer. A lot of people don't buy pinepaple for juicing purpose, thinking the works and the cutting part also scared them off. Contrary to popular belief that you should trim the fruit like fruit stall (it take additional 10min for me per unit to trim the thorn out, so kinda time consuming), you could just juice it like the picture above as most good quality modern juicer has the technology to sieve out the solid part (super mesh/micron mesh, etc). My fresh juice in less than 15min.....well for the production of 1.5jug of juice!

Although I don't have to complain as the less people like to juice pineapple, the better it is for me as no one race with me during any store's pineapple promotion kekekkekeke! I could leisurely take my time to choose even when it's selling 99cents each, while other promotion area was over-crowded with peoples. Example? On the same day, Tesco's is selling fresh whole chicken for 3.99/kg, I choosen 2 and the queue to weighed/cut the chicken is like 15pax long and counting. I lost interest and proceed buying the frozen dory fish instead (well, the fresh one is like min 30% more expensive than the wholesale wet market near my place, so there).

Talk a bit about the drink above, refeshing and naturally sweet already...mmmmm....what a life! :)

Ops...now to clean up the juicer machine...:O Truly wish I am at my mum's place now shouting.....kakak...kakak...cuci ya! That is why I never bake again since I moved here, cuz too much items to wash and I don't have a kakak here to help me clean-up :P

Before I forgot, pineapple juice is very nutritious and also good for our skin. Do googled it....I m too lazy to give lecture on bromelain enzymatic activities again! Doing that a lot to encourage my pimpled friends to drink-up in the past.
